The predicted salary is between 47000 - 63000 Β£ per year.
Central London Office, Hybrid role, Β£55,000 - Β£60,000 basic salary range, plus Excellent Benefits (including subsidised travel).
This is an exciting time to join this high-profile business, as they embark on a planned range of growth and investment, in this expanding procurement and contract management team.
Your role will be to provide strategic commercial oversight and supplier relationship management across a portfolio of contracts. Operating as a central point of accountability, you will support functional business leaders in regular supplier contract reviews, ensuring governance is maintained and supplier performance is actively monitored.
You will drive contract performance through structured evaluation of KPIs, SLAs, and compliance with the latest PA23 procurement legislation governing in-life contract management, ensuring supplier delivery is measured, challenged, and continuously improved, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, risk mitigation, and value creation.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Commercially astute, with knowledge of contracts management process
- Good understanding and application of contract law
- Procurement and Supplier relationship management exposure
- Knowledge of a range of Indirect spend categories
- Experienced in cost analysis techniques
- Numerate with ability to produce reasonably complex analytical models
- Experienced IT user of Word, Excel, and other MS Office software
Essential Personal Skills
- Good stakeholder engagement
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels including 3rd parties
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Well organised, with logical and structured approach to problem solving
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified, or working towards membership of CIPS, or IACCM, or 5 years Contract Management experience
- Working knowledge of public sector or regulated industry legislation and supply chains
- Procure to pay and Finance systems experience (notably SAP)
- E-tendering tools knowledge
- Experience of planning and budgeting including business planning, expenditure mapping and development of strategies to create efficiencies
