The Opportunity

Their success can be directly attributed to focusing on adding value through expert design, precision manufacturing, quality products and the highest levels of customer service. To spearhead their growth within the UK market the role of Business Development Director has been created to take advantage of the significant new business opportunities. Reporting to the CEO based in Europe, your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing the Commercial Strategy
Instigate the customer acquisition process, including developing and executing complex negotiation strategies with well-defined success criteria and KPI\’s
To effectively manage and further develop several strategically important key accounts within the UK business
To provide pro-active expertise, advice and governance on all new Bids/Framework agreementsThe Candidate
A professionally qualified Engineer, with extensive experience in identifying, negotiating and winning large infrastructure projects within the Construction, Rail or Civil Engineering sectors. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate skills and experience in the following key areas:
Commercial management of framework agreements and leading commercial review process
Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new accounts/markets
Possess a strong financial acumen and experienced in working to challenging but realistic sales targets
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with proven track record of quickly building credibility both internally and externallyHow to Apply
