This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving manufacturing and business processes within a progressive engineering environment.
The role:
- Reporting to the Manufacturing Design Engineering Manager, you'll lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies, you'll drive efficiency, reduce waste and improve quality, while embedding a culture of continuous improvement on the factory floor.
Responsibilities:
- Leading CI and Lean projects using DMAIC and Kaizen tools
- Improving productivity, quality, throughput and OEE
- Analysing KPIs to identify root cause and sustain improvements
- Optimising factory layout, workflow and operator movement
- Coaching and mentoring teams in best practice and new ways of working
- Managing improvement projects through to successful implementation
The person:
- Experienced Continuous Improvement / Lean professional
- Background in engineering or manufacturing
- Confident working with data, KPIs and problem-solving tools
- Passionate about driving meaningful, sustainable change
- Strong communicator who can influence at all levels
