Responsibilities

  • Owning, maintaining, and developing the company\’s IATF16949 Quality Management System.
  • Supporting operations across the business to embed best practice processes and documentation.
  • Leading customer and third-party audits (certification, surveillance, VDA6.3 supplier audits).
  • Planning and carrying out internal audit programmes, reporting on findings, and ensuring robust corrective actions.
  • Mentoring colleagues and delivering training to strengthen the quality culture.
  • Supporting ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards alongside the Health, Safety & Environmental teams.

What we\’re looking for

  • Lead Auditor certification with hands-on experience in IATF16949 / VDA6.3.
  • Solid knowledge of core automotive quality tools (FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC).
  • Strong track record in implementing, developing, and maintaining QMS (IATF16949:2016 / ISO9001:2015).
  • Confident in managing audits, resolving non-conformances, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • A self-driven, resilient engineer who thrives on collaboration and welcomes change.
  • Apprenticeship, HNC (or equivalent) in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline.
