This is your chance to join a market-leading Automotive manufacturer as the lead for Quality Management Systems across their busy manufacturing facility – a role where your expertise will directly influence the performance, compliance, and reputation of a world-class business.
What you\\\’ll be doing
- Owning, maintaining, and developing the company\\\’s IATF16949 Quality Management System.
- Supporting operations across the business to embed best practice processes and documentation.
- Leading customer and third-party audits (certification, surveillance, VDA6.3 supplier audits).
- Planning and carrying out internal audit programmes, reporting on findings, and ensuring robust corrective actions.
- Mentoring colleagues and delivering training to strengthen the quality culture.
- Supporting ISO14001 & ISO45001 standards alongside the Health, Safety & Environmental teams.
What we\\\’re looking for
- Lead Auditor certification with hands-on experience in IATF16949 / VDA6.3.
- Solid knowledge of core automotive quality tools (FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC).
- Strong track record in implementing, developing, and maintaining QMS (IATF16949:2016 / ISO9001:2015).
- Confident in managing audits, resolving non-conformances, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- A self-driven, resilient engineer who thrives on collaboration and welcomes change.
- Apprenticeship, HNC (or equivalent) in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline.
