Start Date: 1st July 2025

Duration: 12 months with a 12 month extension possible (Outside IR35)

Location: Home Based with very occasional visits to Worcestershire area (1-2X a month)

Experience:

  • Led and delivered at least three large-scale, successful projects.
  • Crucial experience integrating applications into the Technology-1 ERP system, the council's core system.
  • Over 10 years of project management experience, particularly with larger projects.
  • Experience implementing large-scale projects in the public sector.
  • Proven ability to join and manage projects that are already well-established.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A project management qualification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Ability to manage project plans, track deliverables, ensure quality assurance, and handle risk tracking.
  • Familiarity with Civica Cx and Total Mobile systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

Competencies:

  • Client-facing and diplomatic, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience of local government.
