Are you an experienced planner with a sharp commercial edge and a passion for innovation in food or agriculture? We\’re looking for a Planning & Procurement Manager to join a fast-growing, future-forward agricultural business based near Norwich. In this pivotal leadership role where you\’ll combine planning, procurement, and commercial insight to ensure optimal production, smart sourcing, and market-ready delivery across our cutting-edge farming operation. About the Role Reporting into the senior leadership team, this is a highly visible position at the core of the operation. You\’ll lead planning systems, manage procurement of critical materials, and contribute commercial expertise to help shape how our premium produce reaches the shelves. Your Core Responsibilities: Planning Own and evolve the seeding & harvesting plan to maximise yield and meet customer demand. Lead ERP system usage and ongoing planning improvements for tunnel capacity, agility, and delivery accuracy. Monitor KPIs and stock levels, manage BOMs & SKUs, and drive OTIF performance. Work closely with Agronomy and Technical teams to ensure growing protocols, traceability, and compliance. Procurement Source and manage consumables with a keen eye on cost, quality, and supplier performance. Build strategic relationships with vendors and stay ahead of market opportunities in materials like substrates and treatments. Balance stockholding and batch economics while ensuring full supplier onboarding and PO compliance. Commercial Support Collaborate closely with Commercial and Finance teams to model and evaluate new routes to market, co-packing, distribution, and logistics solutions. Act as the customer contact for supply issues, and maintain robust product merit and pricing models. Contribute to shelf life trials and market access strategies with clear planning inputs. What You\’ll Bring Strong background in planning and procurement, ideally within food production, agribusiness, or FMCG. Proven ability to integrate planning with commercial, finance, and operational functions. Excellent negotiation and communication skills – comfortable liaising from field to finance. Confident, autonomous, solutions-focused mindset with a results-driven approach. ERP system experience and a track record of driving change and efficiency.
