Our client is a highly respected and product-centric organisation operating within the high-volume components sector. As part of an ambitious growth agenda, the business is seeking a Global Sales Director, offering significant influence over the direction of the business. The successful candidate will lead the global sales function and develop strategic customer partnerships.
The role:
- Define and deliver the growth vision for the business, driving sustainable development across core and emerging markets while ensuring close alignment between sales, supply chain and operational capability.
Key responsibilities:
- Set and execute the global sales and commercial strategy, aligned to long-term growth objectives.
- Provide leadership to a senior sales team, creating a high-performance, accountable culture.
- Own and develop key strategic and global customer relationships.
- Identify and capitalise on new markets, sectors and channel opportunities.
- Drive rigorous sales forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting at executive level.
- Contribute to strategic decisions around pricing, service models, investment and growth initiatives.
