Are you a Continuous Improvement Engineer who enjoys turning problems into progress? Do you thrive in a manufacturing environment where data-driven decisions lead to real, visible change? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving manufacturing and business processes within a progressive engineering environment.
The role: Reporting to the Manufacturing Design Engineering Manager, you'll lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies, you'll drive efficiency, reduce waste and improve quality, while embedding a culture of continuous improvement on the factory floor.
Responsibilities:
- Leading CI and Lean projects using DMAIC and Kaizen tools
- Improving productivity, quality, throughput and OEE
- Analysing KPIs to identify root cause and sustain improvements
- Optimising factory layout, workflow and operator movement
- Coaching and mentoring teams in best practice and new ways of working
- Managing improvement projects through to successful implementation
The person:
- Experienced Continuous Improvement / Lean professional
- Background in engineering or manufacturing
- Confident working with data, KPIs and problem-solving tools
- Passionate about driving meaningful, sustainable change
- Strong communicator who can influence at all levels
