An established, family-owned business with a long-standing reputation within the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (M&E) wholesale and distribution sector is looking to appoint a Purchasing Manager to take ownership of its purchasing function.
This is an opportunity to join a successful business at an important stage of its development, with significant scope to improve, develop and shape the way purchasing operates.
As Purchasing Manager, you will have the autonomy to make decisions, introduce improvements and bring greater structure and efficiency to the function, working closely with the wider business to ensure the right products are available at the right time and at the right commercial terms.

The person:
We're looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager / Senior Buyer who is commercially minded, organised and confident taking ownership.
Experience within M&E, plumbing, electrical, building products, trade distribution or a similar wholesale environment would be highly relevant.
More importantly, you'll be someone who sees opportunities to improve things, isn't afraid to make decisions and wants the scope to have a genuine impact.
