Lord Grey Academy is seeking a Teacher of PE and second subject to join our faculty in September 2026. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a strong commitment to teaching and learning in PE, and will have the flexibility to teach a second subject within the faculty if required. This position is suitable for Early Career Teacher (ECT) candidates.
Responsibilities
- Commit to high quality teaching and learning across PE.
- Deliver curriculum for PE and a second subject at Key Stages 3 and 4, and where appropriate, in Sixth Form.
- Build an effective classroom practice that raises standards for all students.
- Enable all students to achieve well and make good progress.
- Motivate colleagues and students with drive and determination.
- Use a creative and energetic approach to teaching and classroom management.
- Show good organisational skills.
- Develop the courses currently offered and contribute to curriculum development.
- Remain open to change, new ideas and innovation.
