Job Overview

ADMIN CENTRE ADMINISTRATOR – Permanent, Part‑time. Start: September 2026. Hours: 12:00pm – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday – 20 hours per week during term time plus 5 training days (39 weeks per year). Salary: £24,796 – £25,185 (Band D, Points 3‑4).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to academy faculties, teaching and learning.
  • Support wider aspects of academy life including reception duties and covering the medical room.
  • Deliver and maintain first‑aid provision, including training for the role.
  • Prioritise and manage a busy workload, ensuring effective communication with staff and the community.
  • Maintain accurate records and files using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and, where required, Bromcom.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Email.
  • ICT literacy and ability to adapt to new software.
  • Experience with Bromcom is beneficial; training provided.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Strong communication and office skills.
  • Good working relationships with people from varied backgrounds and cultures.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
