We are working with a growing, fast-paced professional services organisation looking to bring in an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Accountant to support their finance function during an exciting period of transition and development (there is an opportunity for the role to become a permanent position).
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of delivering accurate, timely and high-quality financial and management reporting across a group structure. As an integral part of the finance team, you will take a hands-on approach in improving the reporting environment, strengthening controls and helping shape best practice across the function.
You will be responsible for producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports, supporting the statutory accounts process and working closely with auditors. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in reviewing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing more robust reporting and control frameworks to support the business as it continues to grow.
The Person
As a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) you will have strong financial and consolidation reporting experience, ideally within a group or multi-entity environment. You will need to be comfortable operating in a fast-moving setting, confident working with senior stakeholders and bring strong Excel and systems capability. Experience within a professional services environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
