The Role
This interim role will take ownership of all German compliance and taxation requirements for the subsidiary, ensuring the business meets its statutory obligations accurately and on time. The role encompasses responsibility for a broad range of areas, including commercial and trade tax, VAT, withholding tax and double taxation matters, as well as the preparation of financial statements under German GAAP. You will also oversee tax audits, EU sales declarations (ZM), Intrastat reporting, and employer tax submissions. Acting as the primary point of contact with German tax authorities, you will manage external relationships and ensure the business remains fully compliant within the regulatory landscape. In addition, the role includes responsibility for managing the company's insurance portfolio and driving continuous improvement in processes.
