We are currently representing an established, owner-managed manufacturing company with over 40 years of experience in supplying, installing, and maintaining highly-engineered products for businesses throughout the UK. As a result of continued growth, and to ensure ongoing success, they are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team.

This is a newly created position that will work directly with the Finance Director and assist in the day-to-day management of the accounting and finance function in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. As the Financial Controller you will oversee financial reporting, month-end closing, review of management accounts, and ensure accurate and timely consolidations. Cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and the production of statutory accounts will all fall within your remit, alongside ensuring robust financial controls are in place. You will also support the senior management team with ongoing commercial initiatives and ad-hoc projects linked to the company’s continued development.

As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with strong technical accounting experience, you excel in operating within a fast-paced and rapidly changing business. With strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, you demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality output to tight deadlines. You will also possess strong skills in financial and KPI reporting, as well as excellent knowledge of financial systems. Experience working in the manufacturing or engineering sector is strongly preferred.
