This FTSE listed group is looking for a qualified Finance Business Partner to support senior stakeholders across a circa £400m t/o business unit.
The Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing insight and decision support to operational and commercial stakeholders. You will work with Project and Programme Managers to challenge departmental forecasts and ensure credibility and identification of opportunities to improve performance. You will provide financial insight to drive performance and ensure all risks and opportunities are identified.
This position encompasses financial appraisal, budgeting and forecasting, scenario modelling, investment appraisal, cost centre management, and performance reporting.
In an organisation where finance is highly thought of, you will be empowered to provide decision support and strategic direction to the stakeholders this role partners with.
The Person
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with strong academics, advanced Excel skills, and some basic modelling skills with strong stakeholder skills and the ability to think on your feet and challenge the status quo. Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner role is essential with the ability to support and challenge non-finance stakeholders to add value to the business unit. This is a great role for someone already in a similar role who is looking to progress their career in a FTSE listed environment with excellent prospects for career development.
