With an ambitious transformation agenda underway and a renewed focus on commercial performance, the business operates within a complex, highly regulated market and is poised for its next phase of strategic growth.
To support this vision, they are now seeking a commercially astute and technically accomplished Head of Finance to lead and evolve the finance function.
The Role
Reporting to the CFO you will play a lead role in driving the company's financial strategy, performance management, and regulatory compliance, while assuming overall accountability for the finance function. Ensuring rigorous control while also acting as a key business partner across the organisation, key responsibilities will include:
- Leading all financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term modelling
- Overseeing monthly and quarterly management reporting, board packs, and regulatory returns
- Enhancing financial controls and systems in line with evolving business and regulatory requirements
- Leading and developing a high-performing finance team and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
The Person
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance leadership role within a regulated financial services environment. You will bring both a strong technical foundation and commercial mindset, with proven ability to deliver insight and influence at executive and board level. Ideally, you will have led teams through change and can demonstrate a track record of improving processes, systems, and reporting frameworks. Exposure to regulatory reporting and interaction with external stakeholders such as auditors, regulators, or investors will be key to success in this role.
