We are currently representing an established, owner-managed business with over 40 years of experience in supplying, installing, and maintaining highly engineered products for businesses throughout the UK. As a result of continued growth, and to ensure ongoing success, they are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
The Role
This is a newly created position that will work directly with the leadership team and assist in the day-to-day management of the accounting and finance function in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment. As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for financial reporting, invoicing, expense claims, project costing, cash management, payroll and managing banking relationships. You will also support the senior management team with ongoing commercial initiatives and ad-hoc projects linked to the company’s continued development.
The Candidate
As a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT) or currently working towards, you have strong accounting experience and excel in hands‑on, fast‑paced, high‑volume businesses. With strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and deliver high‑quality output to tight deadlines. You will also have previous experience working in the engineering, manufacturing, or construction sectors, in an SME environment.
