A high profile, commercial and varied role, helping an established, complex, multi-site national company on its transformative journey to grow to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial and risk oversight for new business cases and investment proposals.
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance in growth areas.
- Build and evaluate complex financial models and scenario analyses.
- Present findings and recommendations to Board level.
- Partner closely with Directors and senior management to drive growth initiatives.
- Support strategic decision-making through robust financial insight and challenge.
The company is seeking someone who can demonstrate:
- Graduate level education.
- Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong business partnering experience within a large, complex organisation.
- Advanced financial modelling and forecasting capabilities.
- Experience evaluating investment opportunities and commercial business cases.
- Excellent commercial acumen, inquisitive mind-set, and strategic thinking.
- The ability to influence/advise senior stakeholders and cross-function project teams.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
