We're looking for an ambitious Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to support our expanding project portfolio across Oxfordshire/Hertfordshire areas. Lorclon Ltd is a specialist civils subcontractor with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects to the highest standard. The Role: As an Intermediate QS at Lorclon, you'll play a key role in the commercial management of our projects — from cost planning to final accounts — while gaining hands-on experience with NEC contracts and civil engineering works.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Supporting tendering, procurement, and subcontractor management
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimating, and cash flow forecasting
  • Undertake measurement and valuation of work in progress, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Preparing and valuing variations, claims, and change control
  • Undertaking regular site visits and liaising with engineers and site teams
