Business Analyst - Software Platform (London)

We are seeking a skilled Software Platform Business Analyst (BA) focusing on commodities trading and risk management . 

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from internal stakeholders.
• Translate needs into functional requirements and user stories.
• Create associated user flows, wireframes, prototypes and “before and after” visuals.
• Ensure UX recommendations align with business objectives, functional requirements and overall platform direction.
• Facilitate regular online team/stakeholder workshops and refinement sessions to ensure features and changes are well communicated and understood.
• Liaise with the project manager, the development team and QA to ensure that the right things are getting built and tested.
• Create user facing documentation, guides and customer friendly release notes to reflect system changes.

Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams.
• Support project management, requirement capture from clients, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation communication.

Required Skills:

• Experience as a Business Analyst in software projects.
• Hands on with UX/wireframing software, design principles and associated tools.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Beneficial:

• Familiarity with financial systems, commodities trading and risk management (CTRM).
• Knowledge of front-end/back-end development technologies and version control systems.
