We are seeking a skilled Software Platform Business Analyst (BA) focusing on commodities trading and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from internal stakeholders.
- Translate needs into functional requirements and user stories.
- Create associated user flows, wireframes, prototypes and “before and after” visuals.
- Ensure UX recommendations align with business objectives, functional requirements and overall platform direction.
- Facilitate regular online team/stakeholder workshops and refinement sessions to ensure features and changes are well communicated and understood.
- Liaise with the project manager, the development team and QA to ensure that the right things are getting built and tested.
- Create user facing documentation, guides and customer friendly release notes to reflect system changes.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams.
- Support project management, requirement capture from clients, user acceptance testing, and post-implementation communication.
Required Skills:
- Experience as a Business Analyst in software projects.
- Hands on with UX/wireframing software, design principles and associated tools.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Beneficial:
- Familiarity with financial systems, commodities trading and risk management (CTRM).
- Knowledge of front-end/back-end development technologies and version control systems.
