We’re looking for a designer who loves bringing ideas to life — in motion, in colour, and in human connection.

Loqbox exists to give everyone access to a richer life. We’ve already helped almost two million people feel better about money – and we’re just getting started. From helping people build credit, to growing their savings, to simply understanding how it all works — we’re here to unlock life’s possibilities and help people achieve their financial goals. And we believe the best way to do that is to make people feel something.

Money is a messy subject. Most people feel shame, stress or confusion when they talk about it (if they talk about it at all). Your job? Turn that into hope, humour, and human connection through bold and compelling design. We’re looking for a Designer to be part of a fast-moving, data-driven marketing team that blends art and science to make a real impact on people’s lives. You’ll bring the Loqbox brand to life across every touchpoint — social, digital, and beyond — and you’ll measure success not just in likes, but in learning and lasting effect.

A love of social media, advertising, and storytelling will help. A bias for action will make you thrive.

What you’ll do:

  • Create scroll-stopping video content that builds our brand and drives engagement across social, digital and paid platforms.
  • With direction from a Creative Lead, you’ll storyboard, shoot, and edit short-form videos — from TikTok-style reels to marketing campaign content.
  • Bring ideas to life with motion design and animation, turning static assets into dynamic, emotion-led storytelling.
  • Craft design concepts that tie together visuals, copy and sound into one cohesive creative idea.
  • Design and produce ads across multiple formats (video, static, carousel, display, OOH) that make people feel something.
  • Build templates, systems, and creative libraries to help the team move faster while staying visually consistent.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing, partnerships, and other teams to deliver campaigns that connect across the full customer journey.
  • Experiment with new tools and trends (AI, interactive formats, emerging platforms) to keep our creative fresh and future-facing.
  • Elevate our brand storytelling — from typography to transitions — making sure everything we publish feels uniquely Loqbox.
  • Travel to interview Loqbox members, speak to people on the street, or attend partner events, to seize the opportunity to create emotion-led vox pops, real-life stories and other impactful content.
  • Use your voice in workshops, ideation sessions, and creative reviews — contributing ideas, giving feedback, and helping shape team culture through collaboration, connection and curiosity.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to become more efficient and effective — producing more, quicker, and better, without losing the human touch.
  • Collaborate with the team to measure the impact of your work — track performance together, learn from results, and share insights so our creative gets smarter every time.

About you:

  • 3+ years in design, video or animation for ads, campaigns and social media – agency or brand-side.
  • You have a portfolio of visually engaging and emotionally resonating multimedia creative outputs.
  • You think big and move fast. You don’t wait for permission to be bold.
  • You’re a natural born storyteller and understand how emotional hooks drive performance.
  • You value the mix of data and intuition — collaborating with others to understand what works and helping shape creative that connects.
  • You believe “dry” is a creative crime, and you’ve got the skills to fight it.
  • You’re purpose-driven and passionate about reshaping how people feel about money.
  • You’re based in or around Bristol – we work together in the office 1 day a week.
