Who We Are
Money, it's a big problem for many. Our mission is to give everyone access to a richer life, helping everyone to enjoy a happier, healthier relationship with money. We've already helped over a million people by giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals, feel good and do a little better — from building their credit scores to growing their savings, to just understanding how it all works. Rapid experimentation to find what works, and learn as much as we can, is at the heart of our growth story.
What you’ll do
This role is about depth, not breadth. We are looking for a UI specialist who obsesses over detail, ensuring that every screen, state, and interaction is crystal clear. You’ll sit between Product Design and Engineering, making sure our designs don’t just look great but are also build-ready — with no second-guessing, no wasted cycles, and no ambiguity.
- Deliver pixel-perfect UI designs for Loqbox products across web and mobile.
- Ensure all possible states and edge cases are designed and documented.
- Work hand-in-hand with engineers to provide them with the exact specifications, assets, and guidance they need to build fast and build right.
- Experience leveraging AI tooling to improve both the quality and speed of output.
- Push the visual quality bar higher than generalist designers can achieve, making Loqbox products beautiful and consistent.
- Partner with other designers to take concepts and UX flows, and translate them into flawless UI.
- Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency across every product surface, on and off platform.
Who you are
- A UI craftsperson with at least 3–4 years of experience in interface design.
- An expert in tools like Figma, with a strong grasp of typography, grids, and component libraries.
- Obsessed with detail: you spot the pixel out of place, the inconsistent padding, the missing state.
- Pragmatic and collaborative: you care about polish, but you care even more about unblocking engineers.
- A clear communicator who can hand off designs in a way that makes engineers’ lives easier.
- Experience in designing in fintech or other regulated spaces (desirable but not essential).
