As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling subscriptions and other online advertising products. Your client base will range from small independent agents up to our largest and most sophisticated customers including global property owners and fund managers, global brokerage businesses, hedge funds, private equity firms, real estate investment trusts and family offices. You will focus predominantly on new business however, you will also grow your revenue from accounts once you have won them.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, nurture & grow your existing client base with high integrity.
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to sell, train and retain.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to gain a thorough understanding of clients' needs.
  • Become an expert in LoopNet's marketing solutions.
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, demonstrating, closing, onboarding, training and renewing accounts.
  • Conduct in-person client and prospect product demonstrations.
  • Provide valuable insight to all participants in the commercial property market.
  • Represent CoStar Group by hosting and attending industry events and networking with property professionals in your market.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to maintain and grow clients over medium and long‐term.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and objection‐handling skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to metrics effectively.
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience.
  • Consultative selling style with account management techniques to grow accounts over time.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate or asset management is advantageous.
  • Experience with property portals or marketplaces is advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate large organisations and align decision‐makers, influencers and blockers.
  • Full driving licence required.
