Loop is a UK‑based manufacturer of innovative cycling products. Under our brand, we design and sell premium accessories for bicycles with 2 new products launching this year. We operate a successful hybrid model: selling direct‑to‑consumer (B2C) via e‑commerce and B2B through an international network of trade partners and distributors.
We are looking for a proactive Operations Manager to take ownership of the day‑to‑day “engine” of the business. You will be the bridge between our creative vision and our operational execution, ensuring the team is aligned, the supply chain is fluid, and our growth is data‑driven. We’re a small operation with most roles part‑time – but the company has extremely promising sales and potential for growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Work with and lead a small part‑time team through structured check‑ins:
- Marketing & Support: Weekly syncs with marketing director and customer support agent.
- Sales: Bi‑weekly reviews of the B2B pipeline with our sales agent.
- Paid Ads IP Enforcement: Monthly deep dives into ad performance and brand protection efforts to remove infringing products.
- Operations & UX Systems: Audit workflows and introduce new SOPs and automations to scale our productivity.
- UX: Implement incremental improvements to the website and customer journeys to increase conversion.
- Forecasting: Monitor inventory levels, propose order quantities, and manage supplier lead times.
- B2B Coordination: Facilitate stock pickups for trade clients, including the creation of all necessary import/export documentation.
- Shipping: Develop and execute efficient shipping plans for global stock movement.
- Finance & Growth Analysis: Regular reporting on sales performance, margins, and new market opportunities.
- Growth: Deliver quarterly strategic recommendations to the founder.
- Compliance: Ensure all necessary data is collated and uploaded quarterly for EU VAT/tax requirements.
Practicalities
- Commitment: Part‑time (3 days per week min) with scope to increase to full‑time.
- Location: Hybrid. Our office is in east London. We value face‑to‑face collaboration but are happy to discuss a split between home and office.
- Compensation: A pro‑rata reduction of full‑time salary depending on days per week agreed. (based on a full‑time equivalent of £40‑55k per year (Depending on experience).
