Join Our Creative Team as a Mid-Weight Designer!

Salary: Up to £28,000

Location: Warrington | Full-time, 5 days on-site with future remote opportunities

Role Overview

We’re on the hunt for a talented Mid-Weight Designer to bring creative ideas to life across various platforms, including branding, digital, print, and animation. You will work closely with our creative director and a team of four talented creatives. This role is perfect for someone who is mouldable and thrives in a fast-paced, family-like business environment with plans for significant growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of design briefs, working from concept to completion.
  • Work on projects spanning branding, digital campaigns, print collateral, and social media assets.
  • Translate complex ideas into simple, elegant visual solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with senior designers and other team members.
  • Present your work confidently and articulate design decisions clearly.
  • Stay updated with design trends and apply them thoughtfully.
  • Ensure consistency with design standards and brand guidelines.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of design experience, ideally within an in-house design team.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills across branding, digital, and print.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva; Figma experience is a plus.
  • Good eye for typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Solid grasp of design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, crucial in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
  • Self-starter attitude with a collaborative spirit.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in video editing for social media.
  • Familiarity with front-end design principles.
  • Experience working on web banners and promotions.
  • Photography or illustration skills.
