We’re currently partnering with a leading Financial Services organisation looking to strengthen its Change function with the appointment of an experienced Resource & Planning Manager. This role sits within a large-scale transformation environment and will focus on enabling successful delivery across multiple programmes and business-critical initiatives by ensuring effective planning, prioritisation, governance, and resource allocation across Change, Technology, Data, and Operations teams. You’ll play a key role in helping the business improve visibility, optimise resource utilisation, remove delivery bottlenecks, and ensure a joined-up and data-driven approach to programme delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing resource and capacity planning across multiple change and technology initiatives
  • Acting as a central coordination point between Change, Technology, Data, and business teams
  • Supporting prioritisation, triage, and allocation of project and change demand
  • Monitoring delivery progress, capacity, risks, and blockers across portfolios
  • Building reporting, dashboards, and governance processes to improve visibility and decision making
  • Working closely with delivery leads, PMO, and senior stakeholders to support effective programme delivery
  • Using data-driven insights to forecast demand, identify resource constraints, and support hiring or outsourcing decisions
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across planning, governance, and delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience within Resource Management, PMO, Portfolio Planning, or Delivery Management environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation or technology programmes
  • Strong understanding of resource planning, capacity management, governance, and prioritisation
  • Comfortable working across Change, Technology, Data, and Operations teams
  • Experience with tools such as PowerBI, Excel, Azure DevOps, Planner, or similar delivery/reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience within Financial Services or Insurance environments is highly desirable
