We’re partnered with an established insurance business investing in its finance technology and growing its application support capability in Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Workday Application Support Analyst to join during a major finance systems transformation, helping take a new Workday Financials platform through testing, into live service and through its ongoing development.
The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with Finance, Technology and external partners to keep Workday running smoothly, with a particular focus on security, user access and integrations.
Alongside resolving issues and supporting users, you’ll help shape how the platform is supported long term - building practical support processes, sharing knowledge across the team and identifying opportunities to improve and automate day-to-day activities.
This role would suit somebody who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems across systems and working with both technical teams and business users. You’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your experience across other finance applications, including treasury and banking systems.
Key experience we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting Workday in a live environment
- Strong understanding of Workday Security, including security groups, permissions and role-based access
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting integrations and data interfaces
- Knowledge of Workday Financials, its data model and business process configuration
- Experience supporting testing, platform releases and controlled system changesConfident investigating issues and coordinating solutions across technical and business teams
- Clear communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge
- Exposure to APIs, SFTP or wider finance systems would be beneficial
- Join at a key stage of a major finance technology transformation
- Help shape the support approach for a new Workday Financials platform
- Work across security, integrations and ongoing system improvements
- Build broader experience across business-critical finance applications
- Collaborate closely with Finance and Technology teams
