Buyer Warrington | Hybrid (3 days onsite) Up to £45,000 DOE I’m working with a fast-growing online retail group that is entering a really exciting period of growth - and they’re now building out their Buying function from the ground up. The business operates across a number of established online retail brands and are now investing heavily in the Buying team, making this a great opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape how the function develops. The Buyer role They’re looking for a commercially minded Buyer with FMCG, Beauty or Tech buying experience who knows how to spot a good deal and is confident working with suppliers. You’ll be involved across the full buying cycle: Sourcing and building relationships with new and existing suppliers Negotiating costs, margins and commercial terms Using sales, stock and market data to make commercial buying decisions Managing the process from sourcing through to order and intake Working towards margin, stock-turn and commercial targets Helping shape and develop the new Buying team and wider buying strategy FMCG, Beauty or Tech buying experience is essential , alongside strong supplier relationships, commercial instinct and the confidence to negotiate. Why consider it? This isn't simply joining an established Buying team and taking over an existing category. You're joining while the team is being built. There is genuine scope to have an influence on how the Buying function operates, the suppliers they work with, the deals they secure and the direction the business takes as it continues to grow. If you're a Buyer who enjoys fast-paced environments, finding great deals and having a genuine commercial impact, I'd love to have a confidential chat.
