Role Description
The Delivery Driver at Loomis is a full-time, on-site role based in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role involves operating company vehicles to transport cash and other valuables securely between customer locations and Loomis facilities, following all safety, security, and compliance procedures. The Delivery Driver will load and unload containers or bags, verify documentation, and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. The role includes interacting professionally with customers, handling inquiries or basic service needs, and collaborating with team members and dispatch to ensure routes are completed on time. The Delivery Driver is expected to perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and represent Loomis in a courteous and reliable manner.
- Ability to provide or receive Training, adapt to procedures, and follow detailed instructions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet company and regulatory driving requirements.
- Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items safely, and to work on feet for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and strong ethical judgment when handling cash and sensitive materials.
