Our Maidstone branch is seeking Warehouse Operatives (known internally as Vault Operatives) to support our drivers in loading and distribution of cash throughout our branch network. Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay: £14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour after probation, plus London allowance of £1725 per annum

Shifts: Rotating - mids (14:00 - 22:00) and nights (22:00 - 06:00). Weekends 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00. Please note: due to shift times, access to appropriate transportation for commuting is essential.

The role: As a Vault Operative, you will assist the management team in the day‑to‑day operation of the branch, including supporting with a fleet of high spec security armoured vehicles. Reporting to the shift manager, you will be responsible for collating deliveries and collections as well as the safe loading and unloading of customers' money. You will provide an effective communication chain between branch management and road crew, as well as liaising and communicating with customers on day‑to‑day service and operational requirements. Compliance with all vault and dispatch procedures and systems in accordance with company standards is vital for this role along with the ability to monitor the standard of documentation and issue of security equipment.

About you: Exceptional customer service and a high degree of professionalism are essential, along with the adherence to our policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees and our clients. To ensure your ability to carry out your role successfully, we will provide you with full training (both on and off the job), all your essential kit (including full uniform and Personal Protective Equipment where required), as well as continued development throughout your career with us. To be successful as a Vault Operative with Loomis UK, you will need to work as part of a team. An eye for detail and a “can do” attitude is a must, as well as the ability to operate within a secure working environment. Security criteria: You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks. You must have verifiable 10‑year employment/unemployment/education history. An SIA licence would be beneficial (but not essential, as we can support you in attaining one).
