Due to an increase in workload, our Shepperton branch is seeking HGV Delivery Drivers (known internally as Driver Guards). Pay: £13.40 per hour, rising to £14.40 per hour after probation , plus an additional HGV supplement and London allowance**London Allowance:This branch attracts a London Allowance due to its location equating to £2,489 per annum (pro rata for part time) Do you want to work in a place where your team values you? The Role As a Loomis Driver Guard, youll have fantastic earning potential. Almost 10% of our drivers earn more than £45,000 and over 20% earn more than £40,000 (includes overtime** and shift pay).**Overtime is readily available but not guaranteed. By joining us as a Driver Guard, you will be at the front end of service delivery, collecting and delivering money and other valuables from a variety of clients and destinations. You will be the face of our business, presenting a professional image and ensuring that we maintain strong customer relations. About You We recognise that not everyone wants to work full time and we have the flexibility within our driving teams to be able to offer opportunities for part time drivers too. To be successful as a Driver Guard at Loomis UK youll need to be more than just a driver. Youll also need to be reliable, punctual, good with customers, colleagues and the public, a team player with a can do attitude. You will also need to have a flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and bank holidays), being happy to adapt to meet changing circumstances. To enable you to carry out your role successfully, we will provide you with full training, your essential kit (including full uniform and Personal Protective Equipment where required), as well as continued development throughout your career with us. We also have some specific security criteria that you will need to meet: You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks You must have verifiable 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history You must have a current UK driving licence (Category C1 as a minimum) You must be approved to attain an SIA licence. Joining us with an existing SIA licence will automatically qualify you for the post-probation rate of pay, as well as a £1,000 bonus.
