HGV 2 Delivery Driver - IMMEDIATE STARTS in Gillingham, Kent

Job Description Due to an increase in workload, our Maidstone branch is seeking HGV Delivery Drivers (known internally as Driver Guards). \n Pay: £14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour post-probation, plus £1725 per annum London allowance and varying shift pay. \n When working on HGV routes, drivers are paid at an enhanced rate (£16.09 per hour post-probation) and receive a supplement. \n Hours: 40 hours per week (Part time hours also available) \n Do you want to work in a place where your team values you? n Loomis UK has a strong national presence and is part of the Loomis Group - a worldwide leader in the security sector. From intelligent safes and cash-in-transit services to cash processing and ATM replenishment, we play a vital role in supporting the everyday flow of money in society. \n The role \n As a Driver Guard , you'll play a key role in our service delivery, representing our business with professionalism and helping to maintain strong customer relationships. \You'll complete deliveries with precision, adhere to safety protocols, and perform vehicle checks before each journey to guarantee reliable service. This role requires the post holder to undertake deliveries to a variety of customer sites and can involve physically demanding activities such as walking, bending, lifting and carrying (up to 15kg) multiple times daily, in order to meet the performance standards expected by our customers. n About you \n This isn't your typical delivery job - to be successful as a Driver Guard at Loomis UK, you'll need to bring more than just driving skills. You'll also need to have a flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and bank holidays) and be happy to adapt to meet changing circumstances. \n To enable you to carry out your role successfully, we will provide you with full training, your essential kit (including full uniform and Personal Protective Equipment where required), as well as continued development throughout your career with us. \n We also have some specific security criteria that you will need to meet: \n \n You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks \n You must have verifiable 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history \n You must have a current UK driving licence (Category C1 as a minimum) \n You must be approved to attain an SIA licence. Joining us with an existing CVIT SIA licence will automatically qualify you for the post-probation rate of pay, as well as a £1,000 bonus.
