The Company
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Project Manager - 3PL Contract Logistics for a business-critical role, working in a dynamic and ambitious 3PL provider. Our client is a Warehouse biased, Global player within the 3PL Contract Logistics World. With a strong client base and financial group stability, this role is highly likely to develop into a Head of level role within the next 3-5 years across an expanding UK network. This position is a hybrid role split across UK sites, your closest office and working from home. Candidates will be required to travel weekly across the East Midlands or West Midlands areas.
The Role
Responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of ranging projects across their UK network consisting of current, and future sites. The Warehouse Project Manager - 3PL Contract Logistics role involves working with key internal & external stakeholders, clients, and the global business to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client or internal stakeholder requirements.
- Plan and develop projects in line with client or internal stakeholder expectations.
- Create detailed project plans to guide clients and team members.
- Identify and allocate project tasks based on team members' skills, experience, and strengths.
- Direct and oversee the successful completion of implementations and projects.
- Develop actionable plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and work plans.
- Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery and alignment with the business case.
- Compile and submit project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient project implementation.
- Build strong leadership and customer relationships.
- Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.
- Work closely with customers and sites to fully understand their requirements and expectations.
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans.
- Manage contributions from various stakeholders.
Commutable to the East Midlands or West Midlands areas for 2-3 days per week, with UK wide travel also expected.
