My client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of their DC across the back shift (14:30 - 23:00). Our client is a fast-moving distribution business based in Sheffield. This is a critical role for someone with a strong background leading teams within Warehouse Operations and working with automation and WMS.

About the Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and will have the following key responsibilities:

Candidate Expectations

Candidates wishing to be considered will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with at least three years in a management role. - Essential
  • Proven track record in managing large teams and meeting demanding operational targets. - Essential
  • Advanced proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Essential
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. - Essential
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Essential
  • Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards. - Essential
  • Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential. - Advantageous
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies advantageous. - Advantageous

The successful candidate will receive a salary between £40,000 & £50,000 + Benefits. The role will cover a back shift from 14:30 - 23:00, Mon to Fri.
