Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting a great client with the appointment of a Warehouse Operations Manager in Hertfordshire.
The role will be based with this strategically located Regional Distribution Centre that services and supports a number of other locations with the network. This is a senior role supporting the General Manager.
Here is an over view of the key responsibilities undertaken by the Warehouse Operations Manager:
- Manage labour and overhead costs for operations to stay within budget targets through effective cost-control measures.
- Oversee compliance with standard operating procedures, health & safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor and drive performance against agreed KPIs, ensuring productivity, picking accuracy, and service levels meet or exceed national standards.
- Maintain warehouse optimisation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure strong inventory management practices in collaboration with the Inventory Manager.
- Foster a culture of excellent customer service, promptly addressing any service or operational issues.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team through clear objectives, regular briefings, and performance reviews.
- Support recruitment, training, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold company standards and accreditation goals.
