The Company

We are currently working with a leading 3PL logistics organisation with over 100 sites across the UK. This role will be responsible for a business unit that spans four sites in the North. We are actively recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join their extensive team on an interim basis. This is a truly generalist HR Business Partner position bringing that happy mix of operational support and strategic projects.

What you will be responsible for?

  • Establish strong relationships and partner with key stakeholders (GM's and Ops Directors) across all four sites.
  • Partner and negotiate with site unions.
  • Roll out a needs analysis with senior stakeholders to understand the demand and challenges from the business unit.
  • Manage complex ER casework with the support of the wider HR function.
  • Partner closely with the Talent function and support on local recruitment needs.
  • Influence key stakeholders and coach them on best practice to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Plan and roll out strategic projects based on the wider business goals and changes.
  • Support on succession planning, talent management, HR policies, HR data reporting and recruitment.

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience operating at business partner level - ideally within a logistics or FMCG or Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a unionised environment.
  • Ideally qualified to CIPD level 5.

  • Element of hybrid working (can range from 3-5 days in the office dependant on meetings/role demand).
