Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting with the appointment of a Transport Manager – Dual Site, the role will be based in Heathrow with requirements to travel to 2 additional locations.
Our client is a well-known distributor of FMCG with a vast network across the UK. You will work a day shift, Monday to Friday and will spread your time across the two sites.
As Transport Manager – Dual Site, you will be supporting the operational activities of a busy team with responsibilities across people management, compliance, and H&S.
- Ensuring all drivers are carrying out their duties in a safe and timely manner and in line with company policies
- Daily people management duties such as recruitment, training, rotas, holidays, and sickness
- Vehicle and route planning
- Ensuring that the team delivers the highest levels of customer service
- Correct reporting of incidents, accidents and vehicles defects
- Ongoing support to the senior management team with continuous improvement and operational efficiencies
