We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join a busy operation, taking responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of Warehouse Operations.
This is a hands-on management operational role, you will support, motivate and lead a team, drive operational performance and maintain high standards across health & safety, service, productivity, quality and cost.
You'll play a key role within the site leadership team, driving the right behaviours, developing your people and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Duties of a Warehouse Operations Manager: Lead the day-to-day Inbound and Outbound warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality performance. Manage, motivate and develop operational teams, driving accountability and strong performance. Manage labour, budgets and resources to deliver against agreed KPIs and cost targets. Drive continuous improvement, improving productivity, efficiency and operational processes. Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance and housekeeping across the site. Ensure stock and inventory processes are managed accurately and effectively. Work closely with internal teams to resolve operational issues and deliver excellent customer service. Set objectives, manage performance and support the development of future operational leaders. Deputise for the General Manager when required Requirements: This role would suit an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager looking to take the next step in their management career, or an established Warehouse Manager who enjoys being a steady pair of hands, leading a team and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. Previous Warehouse Operational experience People Management experience - ability support, motivate and develop a team Experience and understanding of HR processes - Performance, Absence management, disciplinary and investigations etc Good working knowledge and standards of Health and Safety Ability to work in a busy, high pressurised environment IT literate - good working knowledge of MS packages and WMS Package: Salary on offer: Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE) 33 days holiday inclusive Bonus Car allowance
