Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting a client with the appointment of a Regional Operations Manager. Our client operates within the fuel sector and has an extensive network of depots and refinery locations across the Southeast. Candidates will be required to travel to the Heathrow and Tilbury sites regularly, as well as ad-hoc travel to other sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory compliance, internal audits, maintenance programs, and product quality
- Effective management across all sites through engagement and communication with staff and customers
- Drives productivity, data analysis, and decision-making to reduce lost productivity and underperformance
- Overall freight budget and decision making, utilising performance data to achieve KPIs and support business growth
- Team recruitment, retention, development and training
Requirements
- Hold recent Certificate of Professional competence in National Road Haulage Operations β Essential
- Demonstrable experience of managing transport operations and dangerous goods operations β Essential
- Previous experience of Airside Operations β Advantageous
- Experience with modern vehicle technologies β Essential
- Ability to demonstrate influential communication skills β Essential
- High level of computer literacy and data analysis skills β Essential
