The Role: Seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their operation based in Coalville. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of food safety, legality, and quality across the site. This is a key leadership role, overseeing the site QA and Hygiene Team, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and relevant legislation within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full management and accountability for site Food Safety, Legality, and Quality Systems
- Leadership and development of the site QA & Hygiene Team
- Ensuring site compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventative actions
- Working to agreed KPIs and deadlines
- Supporting internal and external audits and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
You will have a strong background in FMCG food manufacturing, ideally within ambient or shelf-stable products, and be confident operating in a quality-led, compliance-focused environment.
Essential Requirements:
- HACCP Level 3 (or above)
- Food Hygiene Level 3 (or above)
- Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis
- Experience managing quality systems and teams within food manufacturing
