The Role
- Leading a multi-site warehousing operation, ensuring the highest standards of service, compliance, safety, and operational performance.
- Leading end-to-end warehouse operations across multiple regional sites.
- Managing warehouse facilities totalling over 1m sq. ft.
- Taking full accountability for an operational budget in excess of £40m.
- Driving operational performance through effective leadership, planning, and execution.
- Leading all Health & Safety, compliance, and governance activities across the region.
- Supporting wider UK contract initiatives and contributing to strategic operational objectives.
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities across warehouse and transport functions.
- Driving effective utilisation of WMS platforms to maximise operational efficiency.
- Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and internal support functions.
- Developing talent pipelines and creating opportunities for employee growth and progression.
- Promoting a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and operational excellence.
The Candidate
- A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
- Previous experience leading multi-site warehouse operations in excess of 1m sq. ft. of space - Essential.
- Experience managing operational budgets exceeding £40m - Essential.
- Proven track record of delivering operational performance improvements within a logistics environment - Essential.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing large, multi-site indirect operational teams in excess of 2,000 staff & colleagues - Essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills - Essential.
- Passion for people development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence - Essential.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance within logistics operations - Essential.
- Commutable to locations across the Northampton / East Midlands regions - Essential.
