Loom Talent are delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation in Northamptonshire to recruit a Payroll Coordinator on a permanent basis. Joining a small and busy team, this is a varied role covering both day to day payroll and additional projects. You'll play an important part in making sure payroll data is accurate and ready for processing, whilst also supporting a range of generalist HR activity.

This would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers and data, has a great eye for detail and is confident working independently in a role where there's plenty to get involved in.

The Role

  • Support the preparation and checking of monthly payroll data prior to processing.
  • Carry out detailed checks across pay, pensions and other payroll information to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the administration of a range of employee benefits and reward programmes.
  • Work with large data sets and use Excel to analyse, manipulate and reconcile information.
  • Respond to payroll and low level HR queries, working with colleagues across the wider business where needed.
  • Identify discrepancies and follow these through to resolution.
  • Provide general support across the payroll and HR function as required.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a payroll, HR, reward or similar coordination role.
  • Comfortable working with data, confident using Excel and have a genuine eye for detail.
  • Someone who is naturally inquisitive, uses their initiative and is happy working autonomously.
  • A team player who can get stuck in, ask questions, understand the bigger picture and use their common sense.
