This PM Warehouse Operations Manager opportunity is with a well-established 3PL business based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, operating within a fast-paced, customer-focused warehousing environment. The business is looking for a hands-on PM Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the afternoon/evening operation, ensuring productivity, accuracy and customer service standards are consistently achieved. You'll have full responsibility for the shift, leading operational teams while driving a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement. Working closely with the wider Logistics distribution and supply chain function, you'll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence across the warehouse while supporting the site's continued growth and customer performance. The PM shift offers flexibility, typically operating around 2:00pm - 10:00pm (or equivalent).

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the PM warehouse operation, ensuring service, productivity and quality targets are consistently achieved
  • Managing, coaching and developing warehouse leadership teams and operational colleagues
  • Driving a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement across the shift
  • Monitoring warehouse KPIs and implementing initiatives to improve operational performance
  • Managing labour planning and resource allocation to maximise operational efficiency
  • Ensuring Health & Safety, compliance and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
  • Working closely with transport and the wider Logistics distribution and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operational flow
  • Building strong customer relationships and ensuring service level agreements are consistently achieved
  • Leading operational improvement projects to enhance productivity, accuracy and overall site performance

Key experience:

  • Proven experience operating as a PM Warehouse Operations Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, Warehouse Shift Manager or Warehouse Manager within a fast-paced 3PL environment
  • Strong leadership experience managing large operational teams in high-volume warehouse operations
  • Experience driving warehouse KPIs, productivity and customer service performance
  • Good understanding of labour planning, operational compliance and Health & Safety best practice
  • Demonstrable success implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
  • Experience operating within a Logistics distribution and supply chain environment
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to make decisions and drive performance in a fast-paced operational environment
