This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a headcount of around 150 employees, playing a key role in shaping their logistics and distribution strategy.
The Role:
As Logistics Manager, you will lead and develop the logistics function, taking responsibility for 4 direct team leaders and their wider warehouse and distribution teams. Reporting into senior management, you\'ll be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations while driving improvements in efficiency, cost, and service delivery.
- Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations across the business.
- Lead, support, and develop 4 direct team leaders and their teams.
- Manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring cost-effective and on-time delivery.
- Implement processes to streamline efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor KPIs and use data insights to enhance decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
- Build strong supplier and carrier relationships to support business growth.
