We are partnering with a successful and well-established manufacturing business in Rotherham to recruit a talented Logistics Operations Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a headcount of around 150 employees, playing a key role in shaping their logistics and distribution strategy.

The Role:

As Logistics Manager, you will lead and develop the logistics function, taking responsibility for 4 direct team leaders and their wider warehouse and distribution teams. Reporting into senior management, you\'ll be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations while driving improvements in efficiency, cost, and service delivery.


  • Oversee logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations across the business.
  • Lead, support, and develop 4 direct team leaders and their teams.
  • Manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring cost-effective and on-time delivery.
  • Implement processes to streamline efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Monitor KPIs and use data insights to enhance decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
  • Build strong supplier and carrier relationships to support business growth.

We are looking for a Logistics Manager with the ability to balance day-to-day operational control with longer-term strategy. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment, ideally within manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership ability with experience managing team leaders and wider warehouse staff.
