As part of this growth journey, they are seeking an experienced commercial leader to join the senior leadership team and take responsibility for driving revenue growth, strengthening network relationships, enhancing customer engagement, and identifying new market opportunities across the UK. The Role:

The Group Commercial Director - Pallet Network will be responsible for leading the commercial function across the UK, developing and executing strategies that deliver sustainable growth, increased market share, and enhanced profitability.

  • Developing and implementing a UK-wide commercial strategy aligned to the organisation's growth objectives.
  • Driving revenue growth through new business acquisition, strategic partnerships, and customer retention initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with network members, major customers, shareholders, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Identifying emerging market opportunities, customer requirements, and commercial trends.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing commercial team.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate for the Group Commercial Director - Pallet Network opportunity will have the following skills and experiences:

  • A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background, including Transport, Freight or Pallet Network - Essential.
  • Previous Commercial Director, Sales Director, Business Development Director or equivalent experience - Essential.
  • Proven record of delivering revenue growth and commercial success - Essential.
  • Experience leading high-performing commercial teams - Essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management and Board-level influence - Essential.
  • Demonstrable success implementing commercial strategies - Essential.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen - Essential.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Essential.
  • Membership, franchise, network, or partner-led business experience - Advantageous.
  • Previous pallet network experience - Highly Desirable.
  • Ability to travel nationally with regular West / East Midlands presence - Essential.
