Logistics distribution and supply chain
Loom Talent are working on a cracking HR Advisor – Employee relations role for a leading logistics distribution and supply chain organisation with sites world-wide.
This position is based at their Coventry Distribution centre reporting to the HR Manager and as part of a growing team. The role has come about as a result of an internal promotion (yey!) and they are looking for someone who not only sees the fab opportunity to excel, but also who can hit the ground running with regards to HR processes and employee relations.
The Role in a nutshell!
- Management of all ER casework comfortable being the decision maker in meetings and advising key stakeholders
- Be the \’font of knowledge\’ when it comes to ER and HR queries
- Escalating any complex cases to the HR Manager when necessary
- Coaching/training of managers on best practise and HR policy/process
- Management of onsite inductions and on-boarding
- Exposure to HR Projects – system implementations, change management, process updates etc
- This role reports to the HR manager and works in a team with a HR Administrator
What they would like from you
- Experience as an HR/ER Advisor managing a high-volume ER caseload
- Understanding or experience working with Unions
- Process driven and an understanding of employment law and policies
- Experience working in a blue-collar environment (logistics distribution and supply chain, manufacturing, FMCG etc)
