Introduction Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting a new client with the recruitment of a Customer Account manager – Logistics, for their operation in the Bedford area. About the business Our client are an established 3PL who service multiple clients across a variety of sectors. The opportunity has become available due to an internal move and will sit as part of the Client Services team. About the role In the role of Customer Account manager – Logistics, your primary responsibility will be to develop effective relationships with the company's clients. This will involve maintaining and retaining existing clients by ensuring appropriate service delivery, whilst building deeper relationships and understanding of their needs. The role relies on your ability to work closely with other areas of the business including customer service, operations and despatch. The role will not have any managerial responsibility but managing internal and external relationships will be critical to your success. About the person We are interested in talking to candidates who meet the following criteria: Previous experience in a Logistics or similar operations – Desirable Previous experience in customer service and/or account management – Essential A natural people person with the ability to form strong relationship's internally & externally – Essential Previous experience working to and managing SLA's and KPI's for your customers – Essential Good time management and the ability to manage all aspects of your own performance – Essential Highly motivated to the delivery of a great service and the ongoing success of the business – Essential The ability to commute to the HQ in the Bedford area – Essential Benefits Upon accepting an offer for Customer Account manager – Logistics, you will become part of a great team that takes pride in the retention of its people.
