This opportunity is a hybrid role with travel expected to the Midlands HQ, other UK sites, and working from home. The Role
We are searching for a proactive and dynamic Client Services and Account Manager on a 12 Month FTC basis who possesses an intricate understanding of the Warehousing & ideally 3PL multi-user contract logistics space. Your role will be pivotal in formulating and executing strategic plans to maintain, develop and retain clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Primary Client Contact - Serve as the lead point of contact for all UK client account matters across the full life cycle of the relationship.
- Own and Develop Key Client Relationships - Build, maintain and strengthen long-term partnerships, ensuring high engagement, retention and satisfaction.
- Drive Commercial Growth Within Accounts - Identify, scope and deliver cross-sell and up sale opportunities across the UK portfolio to support sustainable revenue growth.
- Manage Contract Pipeline & Additional Business - Oversee contract renewals, amendments and incremental business opportunities, ensuring commercial rigour and continuity.
- Lead Contract & SLA Negotiations - Actively participate in negotiating commercial agreements and service levels, aligning operational capability with contractual commitments.
- Ensure Operational Alignment to Commercial Agreements - Work closely with Operations, Finance, Transport and Sales to ensure delivery is fully aligned to agreed commercial terms.
- Support Implementation of New Contracts - Partner with project teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful implementation of new UK contracts within agreed timelines.
- Oversee Client Reporting & Performance Metrics - Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting and KPI structures are in place at account level to drive performance transparency and accountability.
- Resolve Escalations & Strengthen Account Health - Proactively manage risk, resolve complex client issues and identify opportunities to enhance partnership value.
- Governance & Stakeholder Sign-Off - Coordinate internal board pack approvals and ensure all contractual documentation is completed and signed off by relevant stakeholders.
The Candidate
- Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
- Have a proven track record of over 5+ years within Client Services and Account Manager roles, ideally within a Warehousing / Logistics environment - Essential.
- A 3PL Logistics background would be highly attractive - Advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills - Essential.
- Strategic mind-set coupled with a strong business acumen, pivotal in driving revenue growth - Essential.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
- Commutable across the Midlands region with Leicestershire a core location for the role - Essential.
The Salary & Benefits Package
- Basic Salary - £55,000 to £65,000 (DOE)
- Company Bonus.
